The Child Development Club was created to support parents, care providers, educators, administrators, therapists and other professionals by providing relevant child development resources. Our goal is to provide international resources that adults can utilize with children, so children can thrive and be successful in activities of daily living no matter where they live. Our goal is also to provide a resource network that students can easily access and utilize on their own.
Our vision is that everyone from around the world will have access to international resources about child development. Everyone will benefit from the knowledge of professionals, whether or not they are located locally or internationally.
We plan to do this through our:
- Blog, which consists, of a variety of contributors from around the world with varying perspectives on child development topics. Our contributing bloggers are diverse and range from young college journalism majors to experienced music therapists, occupational therapists and educators. They will be providing information on various relevant child development topics.
- Website resources for children and adults. Sharing resources for children’s educational activities, parenting blogs, therapeutic blogs, free handouts, educational products, continuing education and more. Providing country specific resources, so people become more aware of what is available internationally. Providing an events calendar, so people can have the opportunity to participate in international events.
